It all started with my response to a tweet asking for Atlantans’ thoughts on the #MeToo Movement. I emailed the journalist writing the story. I thought she’d pull a quote from my email and that’d be the end of it.
Instead, she asked if I was available to speak with her. I did and now, I’M IN THE ATLANTA JOURNAL CONSTITUTION.
It feels good to tell my story. If you are a survivor of sexual violence, whether you tell your story to others or not, you are surviving, you are hopefully healing and that means something.
You can find the article here. TRIGGER WARNING: this article discusses child molestation and sexual assault.
If you happen to live in Georgia, the story will be in the print edition of the AJC tomorrow should you want to procure a copy.
